Fruits of Piura (75%)

One Rare Place, Two Exceptional Tastes, Peruvian Nacional

As diverse in flavours as Peru’s butterfly collection, our bright Piura Porcelana 75% and exotic Piura Malingas 75% are a study in how two cacaos grown in the same place deliver richly different, pure tastes. Not just a play in contrasts, both bars are delightfully fruity and exceptionally light. It takes two to tell the full story of Piura. Savour it slowly.

HELP PERU'S BRIGHT BUTTERFLY COLLECTION STAY ALOFT

Experience the Rare

The locals of Piura say that only one albino bean survived the migration of cacao from the Amazonas over the Andes to the coastal area: Piura Porcelana. Nearly extinct when our dogged Bean Team discovered it in 2007, the ultra rare white cacao grows in the Piura valley of Northern Peru, home to a dazzling array of butterflies. Our mission is to save and share this award-winning special cacao.
