Iced Coffee with Chocolate Sorbet

Looking for the perfect drink for when the days are too hot? A cold, creamy, chocolatey coffee kick might be it! Make your own Piura 75 % chocolate sorbet, mix it with your favorite milk, some coffee and combine to create the perfect summer shake!

Ingredients

  • 70 g Original Beans Piura 75%

Preparation

Chocolate Sorbet

  1. INGREDIENTS:
    1 bar of Piura 75 %
    100 ml of water
    Vanilla sugar (optional)
    1 pinch of salt

  2. In a saucepan, heat water, chocolate and other ingredients, until the chocolate melts, stir well.

  3. Fill kitchen sink with cold water (3 fingers up).

  4. Place the saucepan with the chocolate-water mixture in the sink until the saucepan is cold.

  5. Refill the sink or bowl with ice cubes, frozen ice packs and a little cold water.

  6. Now beat the chocolate mass with a whisk until it has the consistency of cream (volume increases by 1.5 to 2 times).
    → Caution, do not use an electric whisk in the sink

  7. Pour the mixture into suitable for freezing bowl and place in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Iced Coffee

  1. INGREDIENTS:
    1 cup cold milk
    2 tbsps caster sugar
    1/2 cup strong brewed coffee cooled
    6 to 7 ice cubes or as needed

  2. Cook coffee accordingly and let cool down.

  3. In a blender, combine the milk, sugar and coffee.

  4. Add the ice cubes and blend again until they are fully combined.

  5. Pour into glasses, add frozen chocolate sorbet and top with grated or melted chocolate. Serve immediately!
