Where do you think your work will impact the future of cacao?
Cacao has a great future, but it also faces major challenges. If farmed regeneratively, I believe its true value is reflected in the final quality of the product, in the thriving forests and in the communities benefitting from its cultivation.
What would you like people to know when they buy an Original Beans chocolate?
That they are consuming a wholesome, healthy, high-quality product. And that when they taste the chocolate, they can feel and appreciate its origin, the people behind it, and taste its qualities, travelling through the symphony of flavours that each chocolate offers.
How does a long-term partnership change the lives of the communities you work with?
The quality of cacao begins in the field, starting with the selection of seeds, fruits, and varieties. This is complemented by good post-harvest management to achieve a final product of highest quality and integrity.
