PREPARATION

Brammibal’s Brownies
  1. In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder and soda, sugar and cacao powder together.
  2. Mix the vinegar and oat milk together in a bowl, stir gently and leave to stand for approx. 5min. The Vinegar will 'curdle' the milk and act like and egg in the batter later on.
  3. After 5 minutes add 'Oat-Vinegar-Mix', water and neutral oil to the dry ones and mix until there are no lumps (use whisk or hand mixer on the slowest setting). Stir in the chocolate and any nuts you like.
  4. Place baking paper in baking dish (approx. 24x20cm), add the dough and bake in the oven at 160 degrees for approx. 15min.
  5. The dough should still feel very soft when you take it out. If you don't like it so 'fudgy', bake 5 minutes more.

Melanie Kloth, master confectioner & recipe developer at Brammibal’s

"We decided for Original Beans chocolate because we want to use the best raw ingredients for our donuts. Their vegan chocolate convinced us with excellent quality and taste, but what makes it even better is the conscious production and preservation of the origins.”

Brammibal's story started simple: they wanted to bring high-quality donuts to Berlin and show people how good vegan food can taste at the same time.
When they founded the business in 2015, they started out by selling their donuts on different Berlin markets and events. After a year, they decided it was time to open up shop and bring Europe’s first entirely vegan donut joint to life.
Years later, the Brammibal’s mission has stayed the same – "we want to change the perception of plant based food, one donut at a time."

Every donut at Brammibal’s is, of course, completely vegan and made fresh every morning without the use of preservatives by real bakers and great ingredients. There is always a classic range of our most popular donuts, but our menu is constantly changing, with seasonal specials and fan favourites coming back time and again.
